April 6-April 8This week in Virtual Art Class we started by reviewing important information from last week: the choice board for our current project and the tips and techniques document. The choice board is a collection of inspiration and ideas. The tips and techniques of the year have been condensed into one file posted in the Stream, which could be used to make art for any project.
The art assignment is now posted for them to turn in their project and their Monthly review if they finish before the due date (April 16th). Their assignment is posted under the Classwork tab in their Google Classroom. A video with step by step instructions for how to turn it in can be found in the Stream of their Google Classroom and in the Virtual Art Room. Students then had the majority of the class time to work on their project. Students were given the chance to share their work if they would like to. Next week in our next live meeting, students will have one last class time to finish up their project and get it turned in. If they have already turned in a completed assignment, WhatchamaDRAWit prompts will be posted as a fun way to be creative during class. 5th grade will have art class next week, in which they will learn about their next project. Keep making art and I look forward to seeing you soon!
